The Nashville Predators today signed 3 of their 4 remaining restricted free agents. Forwards Jan Hrdina and Jason Chimera as well as defenseman Mathieu Dandenault all agreed to two year deals.
"We finally have our core locked up and we are happy about that. Negotiations have been a bit tougher than expected, but we finally could get it done." GM Tony Kapfenberger said at the press conference. When asked about the last remaining RFA, minor league goalie Craig Anderson, he stated: "Craig is having somewhat of an up-and-down season. We will tender a qualifying offer to give him the chance to improve next season and get a better contract."
