HFNHL Preds
The Nashville Predators have dropped 4 straight to open the 05/06 season, 2 of those losses came at home against the powerhouse St. Louis Blues. Both games were sell-outs. Remy Latrou, a season ticket holder for the Preds when asked about the reasons fans are coming even though the team is losing: "It's different from last seasons. We had Sundin and Norstrom and Cujo. And nothing else. Basically one-man shows per position. Now we have a hard working team and its fun to watch them."

GM Tony Kapfenberger is also happy with the way his team played "We knew it is going to be a tough season as we are rebuilding the team. But the fans are there and they already like the direction we are heading to."

It is rumored that Kapfenberger's latest installment in Nashville is another reason why the fans keep coming. The Nashville Ice Girls featuring Natalie Portman, Jessica Alba, Shannyn Sossamon and Keira Knightley who serve as All-Star group of Cheerleaders. "Natalie will also be the number girl when Sean (Avery) goes at it" Kapfenberger said.

After close losses at home to St Louis, in New York against the Rangers and not so close against Minnesota the Preds have hit the road again to take on the Detroit Red Wings in their next game. The teams leading scorer so far is centre Eric Belanger with 3 points in 4 games.
