Schedule released for the 19th annual NAHL Showcase

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced the game schedule for the 19th annual NAHL Showcase, which will be held from September 14-17, 2022, at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. All 29 NAHL teams will play between three and four regular-season games at the Showcase, which is one of hockey's most prominent and popular events of the entire season and has become the 'Greatest Show on Ice.'

All 58 NAHL Showcase games will be broadcast live and in HD through HockeyTV, the official broadcast provider of the NAHL. ...

In addition to all 29 NAHL teams playing in the event, the United States National Team Development Program (NTDP) of the United States Hockey League (USHL) will be playing in the event in two exhibition games against the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday, September 16th and the Maine Nordiques on Saturday, September 17th. ...

South dominant on Day 1 at NAHL Showcase

Day 1 of the 2022 NAHL Showcase was another busy one as scouts and fans flocked to the Super Rink in Blaine to get their first look at the 29 NAHL teams and over 700+ players taking part in the four-day event.

The big story on Day 1 was the dominance of the South Division as they posted a 7-1 record on the first day. The Central came in at 3-3, while the Midwest was 3-5, and the East was 1-5. It marked the second straight year that all the games on Day 1 of the NAHL Showcase were decided in regulation. 10 of the 14 games were decided by three goals or less. ...

Scouts flock on Day 2 of NAHL Showcase
Day 2 of the 2022 NAHL Showcase was a jam-packed one as close to 250 scouts and thousands of fans flocked to the Super Rink in Blaine for another day of watching all 29 NAHL teams and over 700+ players taking part in the four-day event.

The big story on Day 2 was some standout performances from some of the goaltenders and team defenses. There were three shutouts and six teams allowed just a single goal in their wins.

The South still leads the Showcase with an 11-5 record through two days. The Central had a good Day 2 and stand a 7-4-1. The Midwest stands at 8-8, and the East is at 2-10. ...

Big crowds highlight Day 3 of NAHL Showcase

Warriors, Wranglers, Jets, Bruins go 4-0 at Showcase

The 19th annual NAHL Showcase concluded on Saturday, September 17th at the Super Rink in Blaine, MN. ...

Saturday's games were probably the closest competition yet with 11 of the 15 games being decided by two goals or less. The night was capped off by an impressive performance from the Maine Nordiques who beat the NTDP 17-team, 7-0.

The Oklahoma Warriors, Amarillo Wranglers, Janesvill Jets and Austin Bruins all won on Saturday, completing perfect 4-0 records during the event. ...
