1 Zadina
2 Rasmussen
3 Cholowski (I think he's going to be better than Hronek in the end)
4 Hronek
5 Svechnikov
6 Veleno
7 Berggren
8 Lindstrom
9 McIsaac
10 Hicketts/Saarijarvi

Svechnikov's in a pretty volatile position right now, he's going to be promoted from being a prospect some time soon, but he needs to show something to begin this season to deserve being our #5 prospect still, which is crazy compared to 15 months ago.

haha just did this in the prospects thread, copied.

gaps indicate tiers

1: Zadina

2: Rasmussen
3: Hronek
4: Cholowski
5: Veleno

6: Berggren
7: Svechnikov

8: Lindstrom
9: Pope
10: Larsson

couple notes on the defenseman prospects: my ranking is influenced a bit by my lack of trust in the organization to properly develop them,I fully expect one of Hronek/Cholowski to bust and Hronek is a bit more developed at this point so I ranked him ahead even though I think if they both turned out Cholowski would probably end up better

Saarijarvi I would have in my top 10 but I honestly fully expect him to bust due to botched development

Veleno could shoot up to 2nd on my list pretty easily next season but I need to see more from him first

Just going to say, I will start the polling after July 1, we need to give it a couple days into free agency before we get into this given the history on this. I mean I would absolutely accept a trade for AA right now for a prospect. Not saying it will happen but let us get through a couple of days of free agency before we are sure this is our prospect pool.

Any of you penciling Zadina into the Wings roster next season or do you expect management to be slow at developing like they were with Larkin and Mantha?

I think the general expectation is that he'll start with the Wings. We'll see if it happens as the Wings typically would send him back. There's been some comments from Wright, Draper and Holland in the past that suggest they'll move guys along more quickly though so I think there's a good chance he plays.

It seems that management is hoping he will be on the Wings' roster Wings roster opening day and that he will get Golden Boy treatment. and I agree with that in this case (I rarely agree with Red Wings' brass these days so maybe I'm wrong).
