I'm sorry I personally don't see any situation in which EDM does not pick RNH #1 overall but that is just my opinion.

Also, from a Rangers' perspective, if that draft shook out like you mentioned then Sven Bartschi would be the Rangers pick in that slot imo.

5. New York Islanders – Ryan Murphy
He led the Kitchener Rangers defensemen in points and will be looked at to lead the rush up ice and quarterback the power play. Islanders need a player like him.

Murphy would be the best of the 3. Not saying the other two aren't, but Murphy would be the best and most offensive, for sure.
