I have been offered John Carlson for my Lafreniere, looking for advice. I’ve been a bottom dwelling team in a keeper and rebuilding this year with a lot of younger guys. I’m doing ok so far. The last two years I’ve gotten the top two guys from the real nhl draft. I’ve been lacking elite scorers, I know Lafreniere is off to a slow start but I’m wondering if I should be patient with him before I trade him away.

Here's my team and league stats:
10 team keeper league
10 keepers (max 1 goalie)

Forwards:
Lafreniere
Stuetzle
Kakko
J Hughes
Kuznetsov
B Tkachuk
Yamamoto
Kubalik
Palmeri
Atkinson
Meier
R O’Reilly

Defensemen:
S Jones
Giordano
Barrie
Faulk
Werenski

Goalies:
Khudobin
Gibson
Merzlikins
Sorokin

G, A, BLK, HIT, SOG, PPP / W, GAA, SV%, SO

C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, F, D, D, D, D, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR+, IR+, IR+

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
Do you mean sell high on Barrie for a better forward? That's an idea...

I feel like in any keeper/dynasty league, you're best having all your players peaking around the same age and then blowing it up with trades to win. Barrie has been pretty hot lately so contending teams should pay. Look for younger guys with high ceilings that match your other keepers, and keep moving up the draft order too. All Barrie or Carlson would do is hurt your pick.

Obviously trade for guys youd keep. Heiskanen, Suzuki, Batherson, doubt youd fetch Svechnikov but you see where im going
