not bad, but I don't see Strom or Hamilton falling out of the top 8. I honestly think both will go right after the big 4, Strome can even challenge one of the two top centers if a team really likes him.

Not a fan of the Kings pick. Rieder at 11? Rather have Bartschi or Puempel in that spot if we're choosing a LW.

The top 10 look right on the money though.

Nice list. Although IMO Alexander Khokhlachev will probably end up going higher. If not then a team like Washington will be jumping in joy if they get him at 24.

Also just like the poster above IMO Rieder is too high.

Avs won't take another D man, I would be my house on it. The team's system is desperately lacking in FW prospects of any substance.

The Avs always go BPA. They drafted a center last summer even though they are set down the middle for a decade.

With that being said, many people agree that Hishon's long term future might be spent on the wing though.

It's alot easier to make a C a W, then making a D a FW.

The Avs still lack depth in FW prospects. At some point you have to throw BPA out the window and take the best forward available. It's the most obvious hole.

On the other hand, you can use a surplus to fill a void via trade. I don't see the Avs changing their strategy.

I know nothing about Catenacci. Can anyone tell me about him?

a very complete player imo.

Good on the draw, great two-way game, has some offensive flair, good speed. I think he could make the NHL next season and be used as a 3rd line guy..pretty safe pick IMO, if he doesn't produce offensively, he can still be used for different situations.

McNeil should go in the first. If he's available with the Oilers' second rounder I'll do backflips.

I'll also be shocked if Musil goes ahead of Siemens. I see Musil's stock trending like Pysyk's last year. Early 20s.

With all the concerns around him, I don't see Seth Ambroz going in the first round and especially not to the 'Nucks. He's the exact opposite of the type of player that Gillis wants to pick.

Also there's no way that Mark McNeill doesn't go in the first.

Would rather have Bartschi or Puempel than Biggs.

If possible I'd prefer Huberdeau, Saad, Armia or Strome.

Good list, I expect the Bruins to pick Murphy as he fits our needs as a speedy puck mover.

I disagree. I think there is almost no chance they would take Murphy over Dougie Hamilton.

Hamilton is way bigger, younger, and his scoring isn't too too far off Murphy's pace.

I bet you their list goes:

Landeskog
Couturier
Larsson
Hamilton

LOL  WUT ? WHO ?

I know Lombardi drafts off the board sometimes but come on Really ? HOW the heck did you come up with THIS Pick ? :help:

Not a fan of the Kings pick. Rieder at 11? Rather have Puempel in that spot if we're choosing a LW.

Seriously ... I'm trying to figure out if the OP just hates the Kings, thinks Lombardi drafts that off the wall ... or knows something we don't? I can't understand that choice AT ALL? :dunno: there's no way I can see us making THAT Pick.
