Robinson would be able to get away with it. Plus he must know a tiny bit of french.

But as I said in another post: Lets not validate the discriminatory language requirement. The media can all they want, but at least let us have a normal discussion about coaching candidates on HF.

Pretty sure Larry is fluent in english and french.

He also clarified shortly after that those comments were not meant to be criticism towards his coach, but just frustration that they weren't scoring at the time.

Media hounds fabricated nonsense out of it.

ya ok..lol you can believe that....Martin system is Therrien system.....
A face change didn't change anything.Enough evidence out there to piece it together very well. They disliked Martin system(fired after 192 games) and Therrien system is Martin's.....Mutiny in the room? yeah more than ever .

There’s every indication Martin’s message was being lost on the Canadiens, particularly considering Josh Gorges’ comments after the morning skate on Saturday, just hours after the coaching change was announced.

“If you only have half the guys or three-quarters of the guys doing what’s asked of them, then everyone is in disarray,” Gorges said. “And that’s where we got to…so consequently we lost games we shouldn’t have lost and changes needed to be made.”

The fact the players would be in disarray is an indictment of the coaching staff. Again, Martin’s system is supposed result in the exact opposite of disarray. Defensive systems are, by their very nature, based on control and slowing down the game. And Gorges is right. If there was disarray, it’s because some of the players became frustrated with playing that style.

It's like he's the single being on earth that can't see that Gio shouldn't be put in an offensive role and that Bourque is useless.

Or that Boullion isn't a top 4 D

Or that Murray can't skate

The list goes on

Although this is prob true and I don't like MT you can't quit on a coach, you know how pathetic they look out there? Do you really want guys like that on your team. Your not playing for your coach your playing for your teamates, fans hell your last name. There are some pathetic effort out there from certain players.

If you ask yourself why he's putting talentless plugs in key situations, it's because they're the only the ones listening, he's lost the talented ones. Has to go.

Pac is 100% correct and it reflects in the Habs play this year. How many 2+ goals lead have the Habs blown this season ? A ton !!

And why is that ? Because they start strong , impose their rythmn , score a few goals and then go into a defensive shell and chase and dump mode (which they start doing in the 2nd period most of the time) , play on their heels for the rest of the game which in turn give more offensive zone time to the opponent which in turn results in goals against/games getting tied/leads being blown etc

The evidence is in the pudding (is that the correct expression ?)

Maybe but his comments are still bang on when you look at the big picture and the current state of the team

Roger that. Gonna go take a look at the thread. Thanks !!

You got close  The correct version is proof. The proof is in the pudding.

Guys, I dislike Therrien, always have but he won't get fired during this season. Bergevin has not the balls to do it.

The moment the coach quit on the team(opting not to pull the goalie & bench the best player for 10 minutes in the third), was the moment he lost the team.

He's a rat and he has an agenda - he's the definition of a bad Montreal journalist "mediot" but we all still want Therrien gone so we're rolling with it.

Even if he has no source, there's a pretty good chance that right now he is right. Team is in a total freefall, and the players can't have much confidence in their coach. If this keeps up, we all know the first one to go is the coach.
