Just got back from the Shania Twain concert at Bridgestone.

Show was good. That building seems like it’d be fun to watch a hockey game in.
That's silly. Nashville can't have a hockey team can they?

Apparently they did back in the 90s...

After listening to The Pixies live Nirvana comes off as the greatest Pixies tribute band ever. My God they are amazing. And then I got to see Weezer, who are just one of my all time favorite bands and were one of the band's who got me through high school. Even better was they played several songs off of Pinkerton, one of the greatest albums ever. And yes, they played Africa!!!

Late to the post but I saw them play at Walnut Creek (advice to @sabremike, when discussing outdoor amphitheaters in the area it's best to specify which one as the Triangle has 3 - Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown Raleigh, Koka Booth in Cary, and (Insert this year's corporate sponsor name here) Walnut Creek Amphitheater just on the outskirts of downtown) a little while back along with Steely Dan. They were great - Steely Dan, not so much. I'm not sure if Becker's death still weighs heavily on Fagen, but woof. Off key singing, a poor setlist...we ended up leaving early to beat the traffic.

FTR I think it was Walnut Creek. Just saw the date listed as Raleigh on a link to buy tickets for their tour while watching a video on YouTube. If that's a Live Nation venue then that's probably the one.

Yup it is, indeed, at Walnut Creek. And my joke about the ever changing sponsor names isn't far off the mark:

1991-1998 - Hardee's Walnut Creek Amphitheatre
1999-2007 - Alltel Pavilion at Walnut Creek
2007-2008 - Walnut Creek Amphitheatre
2008-2013 - Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion
2013-2016 - Walnut Creek Amphitheatre
2016-present - Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek

You could translate the title of the song as "going as a winger of aho" (originally rather "walking the edge of field")

So if he's gonna be centre this year, this could be his song.
