Hey RunnerHey peate, you had mentioned in another thread that you have a buddy who is into Euro prog.
Was wondering whether you knew of any bands or cuts that he has recommended or mentioned to you and whether you could share.
I’d learn it too if I were playing guitar.
This one as well, probably:
Hey Runner
Cheers
who do you like so far who do you know
and then ill do my best to add some for you..
im pretty sure you must know many after having posted "Camel" well done by the way
you may remember me from the Status Quo posts
i do not chime in much but i read the Habs thread daily.....
And Ricky and the others gave birth to this. Near perfection on stage.
That was just released on vinyl again for RSD
i remember seeing them perform Fast Train in my School (1st Concert 1st date) way way back then
That was an amazing concert. The guy who posted it colorised the clip and made sound enhancements to a video that had already been released.
Near perfection, absolutely. The song selection was spectacular save for whatever it is Ringo was singing -- only part that needed skipping.
Thanks for sharing.
My favorite girls.
My brother went, I was too young.Interestingly enough, perhaps not,but people were disappointed with their performance when they played 2 shows at the Montreal forum.
I too love prog with singers above all.. i guess time has shown me thatHey Barilko, I do remember you. You should post more often, man. Nice to have you back.
I love Status Quo, you might have just tempted me to jump back in.
I'm open to all kinds of music even if I enjoy prog best with an actual singer. I just thought there has to be more than the usual suspects.
Please post whatever you like, whatever it is, it's bound to be interesting. Cheers.
Some under the radar classic prog stuff. Bill Bruford on drums.
Hey @Runner77, here are some of the prog bands my buddy knows:
PFM you should know, Alpha taurus, or something like that, Birth control, Embryo, Triumvirat, Solaris, Harmoinia.
He got lots of interesting videos from googling euro prog, kraut prog, brit prog, etc. try it.
saw them a few times the follow up album Danger Money is solid... the debut has the mastertrack though..
