both times he scored - he had a cocky air about him...just like johnson.

the canadian players hopping into the bench is not cocky, it is celebrating.

that is the difference. one group is taunting and cocky, the other is simply excited.

that is why I LOVE watching Canada beat the US repeatedly.

Both groups are cocky. If you think this isn't the case you're kidding yourself. These are 18 and 19 year olds we're talking about. You can bet both benches were talking trash. Do you really think that when Team USA scored the Canadians were on the bench going "Hey, good shot!"? Or after the 6-3 loss the Canadians said "Maybe next time, eh?"

I picked up on the outstretched arms thing and thought immediately that he's gonna get his sometime if he keeps this kind of behaviour up in the bigs...and you know what, not even 10 minutes later, he's eating crow...it looked good on him and I'm sure that he learned a lesson too.

Maybe he was winking at the bench as in "I'll fix it for you guys and put the puck right into Price's pads". Ever think of that? The fix was in, he was plotting with the Canadians to throw the whole thing.

Just something for the HF conspiracy theory types to mull over.

This is why even rational Canadian fans get a bad name.
