hmm, as a habs fan I'd take this in a second. i cant wait for the day price is traded.

Why? It’s so hard to find a good #1G let alone find a franchise one. Just keep him and build around him.

No we don't! Price is one of the best goalies in the world and is only age 31. He's not 35+

#2 - While Price is awesome, nobody wants his contract. At 50% retained he's making more than league average for starting goalies.
#3 - Edmonton has a starter. They need a back-up, not a starter. After this trade they still need a back-up and they're missing a top 4 d-man and a first rounder. Price is obviously an upgrade, but at what price.
#4 - If you think the price of Price is a fellow starting goalie who would probably resign with Edmonton, a top 4 d-man and a 1st rounder knowing that Edmonton is on the outside of making the playoffs this year, I'm just going to assume that you're drunk or are mistaking Edmonton and their roster for a totally different team like the Lightning or the Jets.
