Sorry, not advocating getting R.Strome per say, but Habs have Danault and De La Rose at C. That's it. That's hardly "plenty of guys". Maybe it's time to be a bit more open-minded about the C position.

Pass. Talbot will bounce back. Strome is a good fit for us at 3c. Lucic will be traded by himself. Price's contract will be worst in the league in 3 years and Shaw is a throw in cap dump.

Habs don't do this because the value isn't there for them Please note: as troubling as you might find this, Strome, whom you should not have to spend much to acquire, would be your best center.
