The Florida Panthers have called up D Mike Mottau from the Rampage. Furthermore, D Ryan Whitney was sent to the Rampage. Whitney cleared waivers last week.

I thought the same.

My first though was "why not Petro or Robak?" But realistically, the 7th D-man is going to be a healthy scratch most nights anyway. I'd rather those guys continue to get the TOI in SA. I don't have much expectation of Mottau, so for now, works for me.
