Congrats on your win Devils fans. You gotta love your prospect goalie allowing 3 goals on 28 shots, one goal that @Bleedred and half of you slam Keith for allowing and then the softest goal I've seen this year, with 4 post saves sprinkled in there.

Gotta love Uncle Jim counting the shootout goal and shot as the third goal and 28th shot on goal for MBW29.

Market correction. I'm actually dead serious. We were due for a couple more road wins.

Technically, we've actually played more road games than any other team in the league, if I'm not mistaken? Actually, Florida and Winnipeg both played each other 2 games over in Finland, while us and the Oilers only had one, so maybe not.

And we do have one more road win than we really do officially, as the game in Sweden was a ''Home game'' for us.

I think the Pens and Oilers are the only teams we've beaten away from Prudential Center more than once this season, even though it doesn't get counted as two road games for us against the Oilers. Just one.

Always liked the Canada Subhumans more than the UK Subhumans. The UK one had some cool numbers and had a sweet font and logo.

Jim Kinkaid (and team Keith) logic is to count the shootout goal (which doesn't get counted into Mac's in-game goalie stats or anything other than his shootout stats) as an actual goal against him.

Just like the couple characters out to get him after last game, whether it was to come out and use it as an example of him being the next goalie to get destroyed playing behind our team or as being the next Andrew Hammond who was hot early on and then fell off because of one single game.

I don't like this goalie (ban his chest protector, that thing is ridiculous) but he's not been bad this year, behind a team that allows a lot of shots and plays even worse than our ''Goalie destroying'' defense. He's been above average in both save percentage and my eye test this year.

I'm not a huge believer in him being this great goalie and up until this year, I saw him as more of a backup that's forced into a starters role because the Canucks don't have a starter because they're not contending or trying to compete, but I definitely think he's more in the very long list and range of goalies that are interchangeable and not really great, nor bad.

From everything I've seen this year, I'm not even convinced that he's a worse goaltender than Martin Jones.

There was a time where he was a way hyped prospect and the ''Best goalie in the world that isn't in the NHL'' before he came to North America. Doesn't look like he'll be hitting his ceiling, but looks to be pretty average and not a bust, which is what it was looking like a few years back.

I thought Mac could have had the first goal, but because of who it was, I think it's a pretty forgivable goal. Most guys can't shoot it from out there and it's not like it was Jay Beagle or some scrub like that.

Second goal was really bad.

Played better on paper tonight than last game, but let in goals that were worse than any he let in last game.

Might have been fighting it and thinking about the last game still, especially when he tried to stick away what became the second goal. Might have been trying to do too much.

I'm sure if the Capitals blow him up next game, the narrative will go back to ''We've RUINED HIM!!!!!'' or ''Told you he's another Hamburglar who started out good but has sucked ever since''.

And if you lose a close one in a shootout, they usually give 2 of the 3 stars to the home team anyway.
