Who do you think is the next most valuable Oiler going forward?

Consider age, contract, injury history, positional value, leadership, potential, etc... One way of thinking of it would be: in a trade to a neutral team, who would bring the greatest return?

OK. Close the poll. Runaway victory at 100% for Gordon.

Oh, wait a sec. I'm the only one that voted so far.

Went with Fayne. Kinda hard at this point. Anyone of those guys can really change to be the best of the rest once we see what they can do.

Funny how much things change in just a year.

The 6th, 7th, and 9th best (perceived) assets in the organization shipped out for next to nothing. In their place are Nurse, Perron, and Marincin, who most of us wouldn't trade without an impact guy coming back.

Yea, it's kind of interesting. I think people may be voting on how they WANT things to turn out but not necessarily on how they think it'll actually turn out. I'm guilty of that too - last year I voted Klefbom straight after Schultz and then Nurse straight

Not just WANT, but NEED. I voted Fayne, because we kind of need him to turn out well... Boyd Gordon we know what we have, and we need Fayne to be a bigger factor than Gordon.

I think Pouliot is going to be a bright spot for us and will be more valuable than Perron.
His game compliments our skill players. Top 9 mins plus top unit PP minutes for sure.

Nobody in their right mind is going to offer more for Pouliot than Perron
