1-32, which environments surrounding the 32 franchises are the most pressurized. That can mean fans, ownership, media, prior history, location, players or anything you take the pressure of a hockey environment to mean.

1. Toronto Maple Leafs (59.6%)
2. Montreal Canadiens (80.5%)
3. Vancouver Canucks (53.7%)

4. Edmonton Oilers (45.1%)
5. New York Rangers (27.4%)
6. Calgary Flames (27.9%)

7. Boston Bruins (48.1%)
8. Philadelphia Flyers (53.6%)

Well if high altitude=low pressure, close to sea level=high pressure, I'd imagine....

1. Miami --> 32. Colorado

IMO its down to Buffalo & the two Canadian teams. (Winnipeg / Ottawa). I voted Buffalo.

Its just been such a bad situation there for a long time, and they are one of the most dedicated hockey markets in the US.

When you have a hardcore fanbase that actually cares - which they do in Buffalo - at some point the pressure is high to get out of the basement, and that's where they are now.

How is Buffalo not on here already? They have the record for missing the playoffs. They’ve gone through coaching and management changes during that time
.They have young, elite talent and still underperform every year. The fan base is basically sharpening their pitch forks. Players have even gone public with their frustrations.

There is so much pressure to do well in Buffalo.

I was surprised when I saw them still on the list. Should be #5 at the lowest and as high as 3.

Ottawa is a small market but it's still a Canadian market.

This is still a town that put up billboards to try and get the owner to sell.

Surprised Winnipeg hasn't been picked yet. Sure it's not a huge city but it's a passionate market and the place is a fishbowl for players.
