Nabokov is another one. I always feel like writing Nabakov, and I'm even a fan of Vlad Nabokov, which makes it even more unforgivable.

We are talking about common misspellings. I have not seen Fanoof once and I spend too much time on hfboards.

I was being facetious with my spellings, I thought that was clear.

Obviously these spellings aren't necessarily the true spellings people make mistakes on here but that those players I see misspelled more often than not.

I think Sequin started out as an autocorrect issue for people posting on phones and tablets, but then it turned into a running joke. I don't believe anyone actually ever thought his name was spelled "Sequin"

Ya, it's actually quite funny how despite just how long it's been going on, there's still a LOT of people that don't realize it's on purpose, and get upset about it
