Matthews goal pace is incredibly impressive so far but this is easily McDavid.

The guy is playing at like a 145 point pace!

Matthews is down to a 63 goal pace over 82 games. Thats still really, really good - but he was pacing for much higher earlier in the season.

Yeah, I can't decide. Matthews is scoring goals at a 64 goals per 82 game pace(63.7 to be exact). Insane. But as you said, McDavid is reeling in points at a pace unheard of in quite awhile. I might have to go with Kessel, eating all that processed food and never really working out for 15 years and still getting 899 points. Amazing.

If Matthews was pacing for 70 goals or more, I think I would pick him in that situation. Since he isn't I think its easily McDavid.

McDavid. Nothing else comes even close. We are witnessing a season for the ages. A shame that it’s a shorter one as it’s an historic one. Just enjoy it!
