Line two would be a nightmare once they established the zone. Line 3 would be a nightmare in transition with McDavid and Gaudreau leading the charge and Boeser as a trailer.

I actually think Crosby would have issues playing with Kane. Crosby historically plays his best when his line is balanced with puck winners and grit guys. Its why he never clicked with Phil Kessel, but works great with guys like Kunitz or Hornqvist, or is at his best with Team Canada when he plays with Bergeron and Marchand.

Some of these lines while insanely talented on paper and would be ridiculous powerplays, could realistically have chemistry issues similar to what I outlined with the Crosby line.

That second line is perfectly balanced IMO

It’s not as balanced but I’ll also take a Crosby/Kane duo all day long
