Portland scored almost double the amount of goals Moosejaw did. Rielly on that team would most likely see the same or better results for him. Rielly's % of team points scored is higher actually.

I know, I'm the guy who ran those numbers and posted them in the prospects thread

Reilly is a competely different player than Wendel. I can't say I watch him often, but I know he's not a fighter and not one to lay the body on someone, not that he doesn't hit ever though.

Reilly is pure offense. Think Kris Letang (who Bob McKenzie compares him to).

That is seriously awesome news, good for Rielly! Can't wait to see him play some games for the Marlies and make a splash on the playoffs.

Kichton plays on Spokane, and led that team in points.

Congrats to Rielly though, he had a dynamite season.

i watched a couple MJ games early in the season. Rielly would have the puck on his stick and he decided when it came off. Pretty much every commentator drooled all over this kid. Now he has a chance to play with the Marlies a good team. Kid will be fun to watch, and hopefully he does have the same impact as wendel did :P

What's the knock on Kichton? He's led his team in points the last two seasons and had another 80 point season as an 18 year old.

I know he's an overage player now, but usually offensive ability like that (even on a pretty damn good team) is deserving of an earlier round draft pick.
