Stack the Griffins to make it a winning environment for the prospects. I give the front office a lot of grief but this is a thing they do that I like.

Grand Rapids is one of the best AHL teams going if Zadina does in fact play there for most of the year. They would certainly probably try and keep him eligible for the GR playoffs regardless I would think there will be a paper transaction for that the 40 games gets more complicated there though I would think.

Hmm, interesting that they are all 1-way contracts.

Grand Rapids has a decent payroll for the AHL. Not really surprising, they have been turning profits and winning. Hersey, traditionally Toronto, Chicago Wolves have all had a decent budget in terms of the AHL teams. So I am not that surprised.
