Moore played great. That makes 4 really good right wingers and no good left wingers ?

Those rankings don't really mean anything. Are there 7 RWs better than Marner right now? And Trevor Moore is not one of the 48 RWs superior to Kapanen.

The answer to the left side lies on the Marlies, unfotunately Hyman, Marleau and Brown are blocking that big time.

Ideally the left side would look like:

Johnsson
Moore
Grundstrom
Marchment

Marlies left side:
Timashov
Engvall
Carcone
Klimchuck

-We can go cheap, and young, and fast on the left side if we want too, but Dubas would have to force Babcocks hand with Trading Brown/Hyman and Marleau would somehow want out.

We would smash a lot of teams with that group.

so you're over the Levio thing now? lol

Moore > Leivo > Ennis > Brown

Still the wrong choice at the time. Nothing to get over, dumb moves are dumb moves. Hutch is a good tender, Sparks should be ejected, same kinda deal.

When the hell did Moore become better than Johnsson? Talk about recency bias. Johnsson has been better for longer, not to mention won an MVP for the Calder Cup when Moore was on the same damn team. The guy scores 1 goal and he's already better? Ridiculous. Lets wait till Moore has played 25-30 games.

EDIT: Ok, I think I misinterpreted the title and some of the posts. Yes, our LW sucks compared to our RW, but you can't expect to be deep in every position.

left wing right wing, you think talent like marner or nylander care if they on the left side of the ice or the right side, or the middle or at the bottom of the rink or the top, who cares, they dont care, and im sure kappy doesnt give a hoot either, your always skating around the entire rink anyways

Our LW is so weak that we're only on pace for 112 points.

Yeah, our LW is weak. Who cares? You think we're going to not win a playoff round because the LW position?

Move Brown and keep Moore. Some cap savings there and you lose nothing.

Think the eventual plan is to replace Brown with Moore. Just not right now, but rather in the off season. Particularly if the trade is for cap reasons, with the return being a pick or prospect.
