Nothing worse than being stuck in traffic in that arena after a loss

Not exactly a Roy Munson or MiG game day thread in terms of quality, but I guess it'll do.

The Sens have been playing really well without half their team. This will be a challenge no matter how injured they are.

2 games in 2 nights for him or will it be Lehner?

His name is Ben Bishop and he's the NHL's 3rd star of the week!

Basically he's huge (6'7) and that's his thing.

Doesn't make it look as easy as Anderson.

I stopped trying to leave right away years ago.

Go to the Local Heroes brew pub or something after the game and have a victory beer of awesomeness or drown your sorrows in a losing beer of awesomeness.

Sorry I misunderstood what I read. I though it said Bishop had also got hurt along with Anderson and they had a 3rd goalie playing

Yeah I could do that...i'm debating just taking the Local Heroes shuttle and stuffing my face full of those delicisious wings lol

Looking forward to seeing Bishop live, he's huge in nets...good goalie, but his technique can be inconsistent from game to game, hoping he has 'one of those games' tonight.

My record attending games in my own city as a Habs fan...isn't very good

Oh, it would be Lehner in that case.

He's looking real good in the AHL (18-10-2 2.12 .938).

He has 13 GP in the NHL.

It's the first time in franchise history where we've had depth at the goalie position, which is kind of weird.

He's definitely not as smooth as Andy out there.

He tends to give up more rebounds and doesn't have the quickness.

At the same time, he's 6'7. We've won a couple of shootouts where he basically just stands there.

One would expect the Sens carriage to turn back into a pumpkin at some point.

    OT loss.

    Pacioretty, Gallagher, Eller

Alfredsson, O'brien, Neil. Silvferberg gets the game-winner.

Ottawa has won 4 in a row.. they aren't pushovers. They are a well coached club with a lot of heart. Not having Spezza, Karlsson, and Anderson sucks but their replacements are doing very well. Bishop is a VERY good goaltender.

Plus, as a Habs fan, I've had too many nights where its supposed to be an "in the bag game" that we barely scrap out a win or, well, lose.

    2 against TO
    1 against NYI
    1 against BUF

    embarrassing losses.

4/18 - 22% of the games we participated in were games we were supposed to win and showed up and acted like rooster sucking **** munching ***holes.
