What a beauty play by Kharlamov though.......he fakes the shot then draws three players....then makes a beauty backhand play to the trailer....Clarke should of been covering his man and not thinking about taking out Kharlamov's ankle..................good old Candadian goon hockey.........ala Bobby Clarke........I am almost ashamed I loved that play........until I watch it today......C'est al vie

bro those type of passes are individualissssss plays ;)

I understood that from your first post but we haven't even seen what Schlemko looks like.
This is what he looks like. Doesn't look promising...

KHL players would take less money and term just to play somewhere other than MTL trust me... Nobody want's to hear Bergevin's arrogant condescending negotiations.. Believe me.

One of the best Hockey player of his time, Without the summit series, no one would have know him. Was not birth yet myself but I have that on tape.

Died in a car 'accident'. Some conspiracy theories about his death. Some say he was on the brink of defecting, and got 'accidented'.

Best player from the USSR maybe EVER. A natural talent. Took a hachet job by Clarke to get rid of him in '72. Shame.

I recall the rumours and speculation about that accident. It was a sad day for hockey.

It took a while, but exposure to the Russian style of hockey eventually changed the NHL forever.

I hope @Teufelsdreck shows up. I'd like to hear his recollections of the Summit Series.

You're gravely misinterpreting the likes. It's not about agreeing with the contents of the message, in this particular case it's just to appreciate the poster's contribution.

all of sudden i felt really old :(

Haha I'm sorry. I pegged the 80's as a number because they were both active during the 80's from what I read. However Kharlamov was at the tail end of his career. It looks like Mogilny played until the early 2000's. But yes, unfortunately at this stage in time they are both it would seem, fairly irrelevant. except to the geriatrics of course. ;)
