Ideally I wouldn't live there, but buying in Montreal is so expensive. Also, I spent most of my teens and early 20s living there so I didn't mind buying a place there when i came back from the Maritimes.

I grew up not far from there. St Michel. Both places have not so bad areas and really bad areas.
