Sportsnet: Montreal has made Brandon Davidson available

Unfortunate to see Davidson stuck in a rut. Great kid with a great story battling back from cancer. He looked great for about 20-30 games 2 seasons ago before Byfuglien leaned on him and ended his season with what looked like a bad MCL sprain (don't know if they ever fully released the injury details). Never really looked the same after that the next season i camp. Looked slower and less confident, and separated his shoulder on a slew foot by Tkachuk in the season opener and never really found his footing again.

Hope he can find a home and get his career back on track.
