Montreal gets a High 2nd rounder

Replace Davidson with a dman who can play the right side. Who Panthers fans on here say that he has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff and management earlier in the year. This could of changed.

Brickley gives the Habs another option down the middle. Might be a 3rd line center but could be something to look at. Plus good to have the depth there as well. Especially if Plekanec is gone after this year.

Florida gets a decent goalie who will be able to play probably soon enough in Florida as Luongo is near the end of his career. Reimer isn't necessarily able to carry the load. Lindgren could be of help there. Talks earlier this year were when he signed with the Habs supposedly Florida wasn't interested in him.

They also receive a fellow winger in Lehkonen who is a solid two way winger and who knows maybe a good fit with the young team and is a fellow countryman of Barkov maybe they could find some chemistry.

Davidson well the purpose of this was to move him. At the same time the Florida has only 7 dmen called up. Maybe add a shakeup to the backend for them.

I agree but man after seeing Mtl got a 5th, possibly a 4th for Mitchell, you never know..

He was horrible in the pre-season, and I mean horrible. But then looked decent in the regular season.

IMO just because ppl need dmen, and his contact is up at the end of the year, I see him somehow fetching a mid draft pick,
