Now I get how some in here were speculating that Drouin’s injury would require more than a week. Byron also getting operated on.

One man’s misfortune is another’s opportunity. Good luck to Drouin and Byron with their surgeries.

While we are made aware that Drouin’s surgery will require several weeks of recovery, we don’t have any particular indication on Byron for now:

They are giving Weber as much rest as they can.

Suzuki-Domi-Armia line should work (I hope)

Aren’t they going to call up someone to take Byron’s spot?

I don't think Hudon should play this game against the Blue Jackets. Jackets are a big team that skates well and I rather go with Belzile who plays a gritty style of game.

It should realistically be Price against Cbj and if we lose again against Ott however Kinlaid will get a guaranteed game for some unknown ailment that prevents our star goalie playing 2 consecutive nights
Also tempted to vote Kinlaid plays both games cause i just want to see the world burn

Wonder what those have to say about Julien now? Domi moved to Suzuki's wing? Has Suzuki earned it? You better dam bet he did!

Lindgren with a 8-8 record, 2.89 GAA, and .912 Sv% after 18 NHL games. Time to give him a back-up start. His numbers are better than Niemi and Kinkaid and he has two shutouts. Also think about the roster that Lindgren played in front of for those 18 games as well!

Not saying he is a long term solution but why not trust his 18 game sample size?

Knee surgery for Byron, he's gone for a while, sad to say, and his production won't be missed.

Drouin should be back by X-mas, and we'll see if he resumes his play from earlier or if he was reverting back to his old habits lately.

Drouin should be back at the end of January...
8 weeks from now will be on January 14th. Then give it a few days for practice/conditioning.

There are no games between January 18th to January 27th.

So my guess Is Drouin will be back on Januray 27th.

Edit: Which odly enough is a game agains't Washington again.

Habs need a player to replace Byron. Domi should pick up the slack left by Drouin's absence. Replacing Byron is no big deal (this year). Weal can do a better job.

Wouldn't be surprised if Peca gets a look, his speed can replace what PB was bringing.

Kinkaid played very well last game. No need to call up Lindgren at all.

Did you see the 8 weeks somewhere or you’re guesstimating it?

Kinkaid played very well last game. No need to call up Lindgren at all.

Not disappointed with Kinkaid. Just saying Lindgren's stats in 18 NHL games are solid. They are better than what we got with Niemi and what Kinkaid's stats are this season so far. Go check it out.

Lindgren is a smaller type goalie that seems to step up when we call him up. Also think about the roster that he played behind in those 18 NHL games. It's not like it is today, that's for sure!

It's not over yet for him. He is a decent goalie and what Primeau is doing makes him look that much better on the same team!

Lindgren would be Price's backup if he would have had a better AHL season last year. Injuries ?
