Good signing... Allows Lingren to be full time starter in Laval, which is probably best for his development (& really, best case is he shines enough to have trade value...).

Having a reliable backup will help us.

I liked the chance McElhinney would get 2 years, he earned it and he did get that contract. Believe the Habs were more comfortable giving someone only a one year deal.

Nice pick up. Kincaid is better than anyone we've had for some time, will be good for 20 games of relief without worry.

One problem fixed.

Speaking of McElhinney, how does this guy didn't try to sign back in Carolina or in low goalie matchup like Calgary or Columbus? Did he ever wished to be #1 ?

End result. Habs have acquire ONE real NHL player today: Kinkaid, a backup goalie.

Aho is far from MTL and Habs jersey.

So who do they trade, Lindgren or McNiven or Primeau? I would be shocked if they traded Primeau but the other two likely don't have much value.

Maybe I should have read it correctly before wondering how come Hockeydb didn't have any info on him in Columbus... (was traded there on Feb 25 2019).

I liked this signing. Kinkaid is better than Niemi. We need to keep Carey to about 60-65 starts. If Kinkaid can win ~60% of his starts we should make the playoffs if CP31 stands on his head

With him turning 32 next month and his injury problems the past few years, I would want to see him start playing less then the 65 starts he has had when healthy, start getting him under 60 if possible.

Exactly! We should all kick back, relax, and watch a rested Kawhi Leonard Price lead us to the promise land.
