My friend actually DOES work for the Habs (and I can provide irrefutable proof to the mods if needed).

They don't tell the staff anything unless it's need to know (as in, it's your job). And trust me, in his position it would be very helpful for him to know stuff in advance. He will know things at most 30 minutes before the public.

He mentions a draft board.....it could be that his friend walked by the war room, door was open and she saw the name of Zadina at the top......doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the #1 pick, it could be that they put down 3 names at the top and are contemplating who to pick, I don’t think bergy went up to her and said this is what ho we’re picking.

That LA story sounds interesting, A Pacioretty and an early second for Vilardi and their first would make me very happy!!

They need a lot of things. A replacement for Markov would be a start, because the defense is almost, if not as bad as the centre ice position.

I can confirm from 2 sources that the #canadiens are shopping Carey Price to teams around the #NHL. Also Price willing to waive his NTC for the right team but the cost will be very high I’m hearing Habs want as part of any deal at least 2 first rounds picks.
