IMO it's obviously a tribute to Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys, as he is a big fan and Dez has made that "X" thing huge!

I don't know why people can't accept that it is a sports entertainment thing.

DX does the X above their head and that is what the guys are doing. You have DX music in the locker room and Tokarski gave Weise a Stone Cold Stunner a couple of games back.

Dez does the X across the chest (according to a photo I saw as I don't watch the Cowboys) and that is different.
