In last nights game at ND Michigan's Al Montoya stretched to make a save on a rebound opportunity that ND scored on. He then fell in the crease holding his groin area and had to be helped off the ice (he was not putting weight on his left leg). Backup Noah Ruden finished the game and will play tonight.

Ann Arbor news is saying it's a hamstring, Red Berenson says the injury's day-to-day. Big blow for Michigan's playoff drive if Monty's out for any extended period.

Montoya should be back for next weekend's regular season finale against Michigan State.

The injury to his hamstring wasn't as serious as thought. Berenson said that Montoya really wanted to play Saturday night against Notre Dame, but Monty wasn't 100 percent, so Red didn't want to risk it.

Big final weekend on tap for the CCHA regular season crown.
