I can see Rollins in a title match at Summerslam and Ambrose returning to attack him.

I really hope they bring him back heel. Much like when they should have brought Seth back face, it is just the best thing to do.

But I think they'll bring him back as a face

Dean needs to come back as a face, so he and Rollins can team together for a bit before Dean turns on him.

Just imagining what would have been between Seth/Dean if Dean didn’t get hurt ugh. They were already foreshadowing Ambrose stabbing Rollins in the back like Rollins did to him. It would have been amazing storytelling. I wonder if they pair them up again to work against the likes of AOP, Hardy/Wyatt, Owens/Zayn (if they don’t split them up) before doing the Ambrose turn. Rollins is kind of too hot to do that right now, but it’d set him up very well for WM.

Nah. I'm over that tag team too.. They need to be singles guys at this point.

Maybe it was the 90 matches vs The Bar that made me feel that way.

Charlotte is still going on the European Tour that kicks off later this week. It's expected that she is waiting until after that tour, and possibly even until after MITB.

The Seattle Con, which happens two days after MITB, announced that Charlotte is no longer able to attend and Carmella will replace her

Ambrose was floundering big time. The best thing to happen to him is to have this time off

- Chris Jericho revealed that he almost placed Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania due to his hernia, diverticulitis, and a staph infection. They were looking at options to get in and they eventually said it if came down to it, Jericho would have a police escort but go straight from the car to the ring. Jericho said he told Vince that he knows Bryan can do it, but that Kevin and Sami, especially Sami, would have an aneurysm trying to call a match in the ring at Wrestlemania.

- Big E is reportedly in line for a singles push.

- WWE may be holding off on Cass/Bryan.

I think that bit about Sami calling it in the ring is Jericho being a bit out of touch. I have a hard time believing that Sami hasn't had plenty of experience calling it in the ring on the indies.

Nah, it's Jericho knowing Zayn as well as everyone else. Zayn is notorious for being a control freak and laying out his matches in detail, even on the indies it was a thing.

It's not that he can't do it, it's just completely different from how he'd handle doing a match on that big of a stage.

Yeah everyone knows that but that doesn't mean he's incapable of calling it in the ring. That's a pretty frequent thing on the indies too. I can't imagine Zayn having spent as much time as he did not doing that. He probably still upset a bunch of people in the process but still did it. Nobody goes at it that long there and doesn't do it.

Jericho definitely would know better than any of us. While Zayn would obviously know how to do it, it doesn't mean he'd be GOOD at calling it on the fly -- especially at Wrestlemania.

I believe there's a story out there where Zayn was going to work against Kendrick and London on the indies I believe, and Zayn wasn't listening to the two (obvious) veterans and kept trying to lay the match out to every tiny detail. Kendrick eventually gave up.

Just because someone has done it for a long time, it doesn't mean they'd be good at being a ring general and calling stuff on the fly. Obviously they can do it, but it doesn't mean they'll be good at it, especially someone like Zayn in that situation with his reputation.

Yes, I know the stories with Zayn but that doesn't really mean the same thing as being able to call it in the ring. Being able to plan and having to improvise on the spot are two different things. Some people are very anal when they have time to prepare but shut that off when it's needing to be done in the moment. I think Jericho is just letting his current experiences with Zayn and that reputation make the determination of that skill when they're not one and the same.

I'm pretty sure Zayn said that his match with Shinsuke was called in the ring mostly.

A control freak would indeed freak out if they wouldn't get to have said control. It's speaks nothing at all to Zayn's ability to do anything, obvious hyperbole is still hyperbole.

Didn't Chris Jericho have a Fozzy date the night of Wrestlemania? He was supposed to be in Norfolk or something.

Zayn also said, for as hot as that match with Nakamura was, claimed on Jericho's podcast that they didn't really do that much.

Yeah, they were trying to work it out and see if it would work. That's when Vince suggested a police escort and Jericho going straight to the ring from the vehicle, where the Zayn comment came from.

and Zayn's right -- if you watch it back, it's pretty basic, but so was Hogan/Rock at WM18 and that's one of the greatest matches of all time. Not comparing the two, but sometimes a hot crowd and two great wrestlers keeping it simple is all a match needs, especially considering the two never had any history together.
