I was more referring to Hardy and Wyatt and previously Shemus and Cesaro. Zigger and McIntyre are a decent example but as you pointed out they will try to push McIntyre eventually. My real problem is with “super teams” geeking “tag specialists”.
I’m okay with the way it was done for the two you mentioned tbh. It wasn’t out of the blue. There was build behind the teams being formed.

FWIW, at the All-In press conference they openly promoted CM PUNK's Pro Wrestling Tees appearance the day before. Wouldn't bet on him working a match, but I think it's safe to say that they wouldn't be mentioning Punk if they didn't plan of having him make some sort of appearance.

Also, apparently Enzo Amore had no idea he was being investigated, thus his termination for "not letting WWE know of the investigation" wouldn't seem to stand right now that it seems cleared up.

I'm not a huge Enzo fan, and he seems annoying as f*** and he rubbed a lot of the boys the wrong way it seems, but he probably should get a second chance. I wouldn't have him tarnish 205 Live though. The brand shifted to something else and it's much, much better. I'd put him back on Smackdown and pair him with Cass again.

The thing is still that Enzo was a problem before all that stuff happened, it was just the last straw. When you're getting rid of someone for a last straw offence, then do you ever bring them back?

Don't know Enzo's merch sale numbers but he was a problem with or without the charges. I wouldn't bring him back but I have no money in it.

Enzo won't be brought back. Not good enough to be worth the headaches he caused

In TV rights news:

- NBC Universal is keeping Monday Night Raw, but is letting Tuesday Night Smackdown go to open bidding because the deal for Raw is SO big (3x bigger than it's current deal).

I wonder if FOX takes a hard run at Smackdown. WWE not having them on the same network will force them to keep Smackdown at a certain level talent wise, though.

As long as the investigation is completed and he is not guilty (i haven't followed it), then he definitely does. Whether we hate him or not, that doesn't matter. IF he's innocent, he definitely does.

As for his character/wrestling - only with Big Cass he should be tagging. The fact they broke it up was so stupid. They were a very fun tag team and should have remained a tag team for sure. Cass is pointless as a skinny fat 7 footer and Enzo is AWFUL. Together they were fun. Never split that up.

Is Bennett injured? why isn't he wrestling
Cause he’s probably in hot water to begin with for being the guy who just happens to be attached to Maria and then immediately once he got hired they decided to have paid maternity leave (essentially).

As I recall his not letting them know of the investigation was less of a main reason and more of the last straw in a long line of problems they had with him.

That being said, not surprised at all that the case was closed no charges. The fact that she failed to report it for days killed their chances of any evidence of sexual activity.

And this is just personal opinion... Her Twitter was a dead giveaway to me that she was full of it. That thing had multiple sexually charged posts after the alleged incident. Which is just not normal for somebody who's legitimately been raped.

It would be interesting to see if that phone conversation that was posted was legit or a fake. The one where she was allegedly bragging about screwing him in a group chat.

Well she turns 30 next June, so that’d be interesting
definitely an old snippet then, but with this that she wants to go back to school and become a counselor, I'd say early 30s seems likely at this point.

Didn't Sasha say something similar about retiring earlier too?

Why the **** is someone giving them more money? The product is never gonna change if idiot execs give him more money

the Smackdown thing is interesting though.

The tv suits really don't care about bad booking, inane sforylines and boring promos. As long as a partnership with WWE is profitable they are gonna pay up. They are not stupid, they just like making money. You can't scoff at a program that brings in consistent ratings and advertisers with traditional tv on the decline.

Vince McMahon is a strange old dude but he is and always has been an evil genius when it comes to running his wrestling business (other business ventures...not so much).
