Vince McMahon just sold off almost $23 million in WWE stock. Last December, the pro-wrestling promotion’s chairman unloaded $100 million in WWE stock to help fund his new XFL venture.

When TheWrap asked a WWE spokesman if this latest liquidation — which took place on Nov. 30 and totaled $22,866,524 — is for the same purpose, the rep replied that Vince “doesn’t disclose why.”

Tough story on Alexa Bliss during a Mark Henry Interview

    "
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry appeared on Busted Open Radio earlier today and revealed that Alexa Bliss has been cleared to compete. Audio from the interview can be heard below.

The World’s Strongest Man recalled a recent backstage “come to Jesus conversation” he had with Bliss, who is now leading the RAW women’s division in the storylines.

“We sat and talked for about 15-20 minutes,” Henry recalled, “And she was like, ‘Yeah, I was really bad off. I couldn’t remember where I was, I couldn’t remember what I was doing in the city.’ We were flying from London to Switzerland and she said, ‘I couldn’t remember what flight or anything. I had to rely one everyone else telling me what to do. I couldn’t stand up straight, I had vertigo.’ She said she was in a bad way, and then she came back too soon, banged her head again, and really was in a bad place.”

Henry continued, “Now she’s fine. She’s been cleared. We are very happy she’s going to be back in the fray, and I just wanted to remind her who she was. ‘Remember who you are, don’t go back too soon if you’re not ready, and when you go back – Ronda’s great, and Nia is doing her thing, and Becky & Charlotte, but you are a major player. And remember, when you come back, be who you are.'”

Raw drew just 2.285M viewers, the lowest ever.

You know what they say, when you sign two mega TV deals, there’s nothing better than to tank your product and viewership before those deals kick in.

You have think USA/Fox put some sort of clauses in the new deals in regards to viewership right?

I think Fox definitely did. If viewership isn’t up to par I wouldn’t be surprised to see them shutter Smackdown to FS1 and if there’s an opt-out in there if viewership isn’t at a certain level. Fox spent too much on it to not have some safeguards in place.

USA doesn't. Raw is still it's highest rated show by a lot. There's still a long way down there.

Even in Foley's heyday I don't think they were dumb enough to throw a cinderblock at the back of another guy's head. What an idiot.

Meltzer reporting Alexa is NOT yet cleared to return. Also, Jazzy Gabert (Alpha Female) posted on her IG the other day that she's "in discussions" with WWE. I know there was some hope after the first MYC that they'd sign her but she had a neck injury at the time that caused WWE to balk. She's since had surgery so here's hoping it works out for her. Would love to see her in NXT.

I think Jazzy would be more likely to end up in the UK offshoot.

Likely put in a faction with WALTER, Barthel, and Aichner.

Because WWE can't help themselves when it comes to things like that.

If they're going into Germany, they need women, too. Or even more for the UK.

    - Plans were for The Rock to return at the Royal Rumble, win, and challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in the Main Event of WrestleMania 35. However when Reigns announced his illness, plans were obviously scrapped and The Rock may not even return for WrestleMania at all now. Reigns is apparently one of the matches The Rock really wants to do.

    - Heath Slater is expected to ref his first match on RAW this week

    - Asuka was added to the TLC match with Charlotte and Becky due to the reaction Asuka got when Becky was selecting her replacement to face Rousey at Survivor Series on SmackDown. Vince was reportedly floored at the reaction Asuka got, and even more floored she got more of a reaction than Charlotte. That segment may have opened Vince's eyes to what Asuka could be

    - WWE has restricted Nia Jax's use of a punch to the head area, but not for the reason you may think. WWE is looking to protect the move, as they hope Nia Jax's "facebreaker" will get over much like Big Show's Knockout Punch did. Nia Jax is expected to only use the right hand punch to the face under special circumstances with "catastrophic" results, which would likely end a match.

    - Finn Balor recently said in an interview that he would be happy with a move to SmackDown, but also said whether he's in a Red ring, a Blue ring, a Yellow ring, or a ring outside a Wal-Mart, he's happy to be able to do what he does.

    - Finn Balor also spoke on The Demon character "I do it so infrequently now that I forget how I move as The Demon. I forget subtle differences in the entrance. I forget the mannerisms that I used six months ago that represent how The Demon works"

Finn Balor. Happy to be there. Smile. All that jazz. That’s why he has no motivation to actually have a personality as a character.

And I doubt The Rock news tbh. Really looked like they were building to a Shield triple threat, and the rumoured timeframe of Ambrose’s turn (Survivor Series) would have really set them on track for WM.

So the thing that convinced Vince that Asuka was worth putting in the match was the crowd reaction in that one segment? He was "floored" that fans cared about her?

Has he not been watching anything she's done since she started in NXT? The fans have always been into everything she's done. Even when they booked her to lose to Carmella of all people, the fans were still emotionally invested in her.

Does Vince pay more attention to Total Divas than the actual women's wrestling division?

Balor just loves being there. He doesn’t just like it.
Saw those pictures from the Latino America tour, he was wearing matching gear for every country and their flag.

I never give up on the guys I like. Bad booking doesn’t take away the reason I like them. It is depressing. But hopefully it comes back, sooner than later, a balor with attitude. (Demon or not)

Being happy is one way to deal with the absurd raw booking.

Just one in a long list of guys this company books like **** for.
