They obviously aren't ready to expose Samsonov to a team that can actually score. Keep in mind guys that Samsonov has played 2 career games. Both against teams that are challenged offensively.

Good luck. Avs haven't played up to their potential yet and the top line hasn't really put it together yet. This should be a good test to see where the Avs are early on with all of that said and it being their first road game of the year. What's wrong with Holtby? Is he playing himself out of Washington this soon?
