Might as well get used to them now, we'll be seeing a lot of them in the coming weeks. Beating them would go a long way in confidence building and may seed some doubt.

Note to the missing players, stay missing; but Gally, whenever you're ready.

Take the L and move on. Team can't skate. Hopefully it's better now with more vets out of the lineup.

Leafs should be sitting players soon, if they were smart anyways. They have 1 locked up.

Every whistle push them around. Every chance you get make it tough for them. The leafs added toughness but they can't match ours so let them change tactics and get distracted. Do not let them play their game

I don't see why leafs fans compare them. Robertson has 3 goals in 15 ahl games and 1 in 10 nhl. he's not on coles level realistically. Tbh I think Robertson doesn't amount to more than a 3rd liner in the NHL. They have much better prospects in that system than Robertson.

Keep the same lineup we have actually looked mobile and able to play.

Toffoli Suzuki Armia
Kotkaniemi Danault Anderson
Lehkonen Evans Caufield
Frolik Staal Perry

Edmundson Petry
Romanov Chiarot
Kulak Merrill

Allen

Garry Galley was even crediting the Habs last night for their play which is rare. Plus he mentioned Kulak was noticeable he would have 2-3 long stride and out of the zone with the puck or a pass.

This team has been fun to watch the last two games coming back. No quit. They look fast again and clicking.

IMO it's not a coincidence the defense looks better flowing distributing Webers 20-22 minutes else where. Like even Chiarot on his opposite side with Romanov probably has played his best two games of the year.

Let's keep the negative stuff out of here for once and roll with what we have. Bergevin built built team yes but we have what we have and the last two games were fun to watch.

We aren't aiming to sit 4th. We are going for 3rd place in the division. We don't care who we get but we are going for 3rd.

We've been considered an underdog every year in the playoffs even in the years we should be favorites. We as a fan base and the actual team know we are always a potential upset. Let's stay positive and bump Winnipeg out of 3rd spot and keep rolling baby! We are pretty much locked in!

At some point, we should scratch Perry only to save him for the playoffs. I'd rather have him be more effective there instead of riding him until the end.

Every time Pornstache is on the ice, hit him hard and often...every time he sets up shop in the crease, Chairot or Mr. Ed or whoever has to lay the lumber on him...the best way to get the Laffs off their game is to hammer the living shyte outta them...that's what needs to be done...
Hopefully this starts monday night.............no need to wait for da playoff!!
Besides, I think we pass the Jets, and play the Oilers...

We all see it, I don't see how the coaching staff and team can't see it.

Matthews is a big boy, he's hard to knock off his stride. Marner is shifty and keeps his head up, he's hard to hit but if you can get him it will do some damage.

Calling on Romanov, Anderson, Kotkaniemi, Chiarot and Edmundson to go after them. Take runs, don't turn back when they make a pass and finish every check. You might get caught, but you also might surprise them and force a turnover.

Let's make this rivalry a real thing again.

The 'Peg has a far easier schedule left than we do...I think we're pretty much stapled into 4th and a date with the Laffs, so it's a great time to start showing them what they have to look forward to...hammer the living shyte outta them every chance we get...

When the Leafs were slumping, teams were playing Marner and especially Matthews really hard. Bump him around, give him the ole face wash at every skirmish.

Marner is the key to shutting them down. It’s been evident in the last couple of playoffs years. The problem this year is they do have others who can cause headaches on the 3rd and 4th lines. These are very often the lines that make the difference in a 7 game series.
That, solid special teams and of course goaltending.
