Revs were the better team for the first 15+ minutes of the 2nd half, but a sloppy turnover at midfield led to a Philly counter attack that ended up in the back of the net.

Revs need to find a goal in the next 15 minutes or their tournament is over.

Interesting final 45 minutes of the English Premier League season about to kick off.

Chelsea has a 2-0 lead over Wolves at the break as they look to secure a Top 4 finish and a Champions League spot for next season.

Man Utd and Leicester scoreless at the break. Leicester needs a win to earn a Champions League spot and knock United back into the Europa League. A Man Utd win or draw sends them to the Champions League and Leicester City would go to the Europa League.

At the bottom of the table, there's a 3-way race to avoid relegation between Watford, Bournemouth, and Aston Villa. Watford is losing 3-1 to Arsenal, and they need a win to avoid relegation. Bournemouth is leading Everton 2-1 in a game they desperately need to win - maybe by more than one goal. Villa and West Ham are scoreless, but a West Ham win would put Villa in danger of the drop.

Chelsea and Manchester United to the Champions League.

Leicester City to the Europa League.

Bournemouth and Watford relegated.

Aston Villa survives.

It certainly went down to the wire for Villa, after West Ham's fortunate equalizer. Even Watford almost pulled one out of the hat. At least it was a normal last day in the Prem, except for the empty grounds.

Christian Pulisic just became the first American man to ever score in an FA Cup Final, giving Chelsea a 1-0 lead over Arsenal inside the opening 5 minutes.

Even in a shortened season, the Revs found a way to let down the fans. All that effort in the group stages to tie Toronto FC for first only to fall on their faces to the Philadelphia Union and lose 1-0. Not to discount what I saw from key players like Bou, Fagundez, Buksa and Gil. They played great. That said, they came up short when the chips were down. The Revs really are the Buffalo Bills of MLS.

Philadelphia's a pretty decent team. Not sure losing to them qualifies as falling on their faces.

For what it's worth, Barcelona has announced that 19-year old American winger Konrad de la Fuente will be part of their squad in tomorrow's Champions League knockout match against Napoli.

He probably won't play, but that's still pretty cool.

21-year old American midfielder Tyler Adams just scored the game-winning goal late in the match to give RB Leipzig a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the Quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

Not a stretch to call that the biggest goal ever scored by an American on the club soccer stage.

Check out 19-year old Edmonton native Alphonso Davies as he leaves two Barca defenders in his dust and tees up Joshua Kimmich for an easy tap in. Kid might already be the best left back in the world. Bayern currently laying waste to Barca.

Just crazy to imagine Messi in any other team's kit.

He's always been one of my favorite players. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out.
