Revolution season starts 2/29/20 @ Montreal Impact; 1st home game is the 7th of March against Chicago Fire SC

Tix are free if you help shovel out the stadium before the game.....

Seriously. Outdoor soccer game in February in Montreal?!? What on Earth are they thinking with that one?

Revolution make the signing of 23-year old Polish International Adam Buksa to a Designated Player contract official:

I know there was some confusion with the story was originally written, but Buksa is a target forward, who has been described as playing a style similar to Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski. Obviously, he's not Lewandowski in terms of ability. This is considered something of a coup for the Revs, as in recent months, Buksa has been linked with such clubs as Rangers, West Brom, and Genoa.

Between Buksa, Gustavo Bou, and Carles Gil, the Revs should be pretty exciting in attack next season. I worry about the center of defense and the center of midfield, but the off-season is hardly over.

MLS Draft is ongoing as we speak.

Revolution used the 6th overall selection to take Henry Kessler, a 6-foot-4 center back from Virginia.

They also own the 13th overall selection.

They won't win anything any time soon because they don't defend at all, but Borussia Dortmund might the most entertaining club to watch in all of Europe.

Dortmund 5-1 Koln

Erling Haaland now with five goals on six shots in 59 minutes of action after signing from RB Salzburg.

Why does it feel like it is noting but a cycle of window of competitiveness before the return back to mediocrity with the Revs? The signings they made are good, but if this team's history is any indication, they have brief highs of being a really competitive before the bottom completely falls out and the Krafts scrap everything again. Don't want to be that guy, but I am tired of this team being the Buffalo Bills of MLS. Like stop getting lapped by expansion teams and win the title god damn it.

Revs kick off their 25th season on Saturday afternoon against the Montreal Impact.

Probably more excitement around this Revs team than there's been in at least five years. Should be a dangerous attacking team, but questions need to be answered in the center of midfield and central defense.
