VI you made a great team. I have a special place in my heart for the Black Bears, normally when I drive my family out to visit my mother in Nova Scotia we stop in Orono and stay in the conference hotel by campus, right on the river. Beautiful little city.

I think Tom Paton was the second or third best goalie in the MLD, behind Crozier/maybe Edwards. So I think the goalie battle goes to Maine. I don't think too highly of Konovalenko but he's certainly a capable backup in a PO series.

The Black Bears are of course very strong down the middle, but weaker on the wings.

I think Rogers-Cerny can score more than any combo on Maine, but can they outscore whoever they match up against considering their weaker defensive abilities.

Who do you take Bodger vs. Ley? Obviously I went with Bodger, but I think this is a key question in the series as well.

I wanted Krug on Powassan, I kinda feel like Powassan's third pair is a lower case version of Maine's second pair.

I think Powassan has an advantage in terms of outward aggressive physical play, I would say they are tougher, but I think that Maine has a lot of tough players that will stand in and take it (Holmstrom being the king of this of course, Shack on the flip side is of course aggressively physical) so I think it's a wash.

Ley was a champion, a 1st team all star, a captain and a guy whose jersey was retired.

Bodger was... well, okay.

I hear you, but all in the WHA. I doubt he hits first or second team AS in the NHL at any point.

Granter Bodger was never a factor in AS voting at all.
