I did send PMs to everyone who was in the ATD... so everyone knows the MLD is supposed to be starting soon. I think we are stuck at 12.

Actually, you're probably back down to 12.
I didn't really want to when I signed up, but I never feel like it. Usually, I get more excited as the draft approaches, but I just have no desire to run a team on my own here. Only think keeping me in this long was the prospect of working with a GM who would help run the show for me.
If somebody wants an experienced assistant, I'll probably just join up with another team.

there's not really a difference, I'd just prefer an even number at least.
13 teams is still doable, though. we would have to leave 13 out of the playoffs... or do a preliminary preliminary round where it's 12v13, then we're left with 12, and we have prelims with 12v5, 11v6, 10v7, and 8v9, narrowing it down to 8 teams.

So are we still starting this this weekend? As has been said I'd like more teams too but if all we can get is 12 or 13 then so be it.

Right now, I'm out, but that may change once a starting date is actually set and approaches.
If anyone is holding back on signing up because they're not sure whether not they can do it due to time restraints, PM me. I'd be willing to be a non-voting assistant GM who could possibly announce picks occasionally.

In but are newbs who aren't around much and I should PM them now to make sure they haven't forgotten or lost interest: 2
Maybe in: 1 (Dreakmur)
In to make sure we get an even number of teams: 1 (my friend, I forget his hf username)
