Would have preferred Odorizzi but don’t know the ask. He’s really good - not sure why he’s still out there. Maybe picky and/or asking a lot.

I'm OK with the Walker signing. He's more than fine as a back of rotation #4/#5 type starter.

So let's see...deGrom, Carrasco, Stroman, Walker and let's say Peterson with Noah coming back in the summer. That aint too shabby my friends.

Now go sign Rosenthal for the pen and we can call it a day.

You never know cause this is the Mets of course and we are cursed, but it would be really shocking if we didn't have a really good year.

Bauer really shouldnt be saying anything right now.

But having said that, have you seen Syndergaard’s tweets at the fans? I mean wow. That some DeAngelo level shit right there.

Just a completely unlikeable dude

Hey so that former Mariners CEO is a real dick, amirite? I mean, f*** that guy.

We really need to get guys like him out of sports. Will never happen, but still.

Don't say anything at all
Here are all the World Series championships for the Yankees that are celebrating an anniversary divisible by 5 in 2021:

1941: 80th
1951: 70th
1956: 65th
1961: 60th
1996: 25th

Yet there will only be patches for 1956 and 1996. I wonder why. I'm especially puzzled about 1961, given it is also the 60th anniversary of the Mantle/Maris home run chase.

Maybe there is a limit to how many years they can celebrate at one time? 1996 is an obvious choice. 1961 is the home run chase as you mentioned, 1941 is the year of dimaggio's hitting streak. 1956 had larsen's perfect game in the world series. 1956 is also the first yankee championship with a black player (elston howard).

Watch out Brendan Smith.

Oh shit...Vladdy lost 40 pounds. As we have seen with Julius Randle as he's just the latest example, when a talented player loses weight, he invariably puts up big #'s the following season.

Vladdy has jumped up on my fantasy baseball rankings with this news as I always thought he could be an absolute monster if he was lighter. Well here we go. Vladdy welcome to Team Maxie...lol

Speaking of Toronto, that Blue Jay team is absolutely friggen stacked!!. Young stud city with Bichette, Vladdy, Biggio, Gurriel Jr. Add in Springer now....dang.

If that team gets any pitching at all, Yankees better watch their asses cause the Blue Jays are loaded to bear...hmmm!!
