Elite pitching wins out over dominant bats. I have little confidence going into this series. (But I’m still here watching)

The Yankees can get a quick kill with the way the pitching matchups line up...but the longer the series goes, the more the advantage swings back to Houston with home field and likely Cole and Verlander in the last two games.

Has Greinke, for as great as he is, ever come through in the clutch? He seems to always blow big spots

Up 5-0 and Tanaka dealing facing the minimum. Why go to the bullpen? Save the arms for game 2 (and later) as much as you can

Rain out coming. Tanaka in a must win game 4.

Then I guess Paxton 5 in another must win. No way they win two in Houston.

I feel like they blew their chance to win this series. Game 2 and lesser extent game 3 were there for the taking against Verlander and Cole. They have to beat one of them to win the series and that may have been their best shot. I also don’t think they can win a Game 7 where Houston can run out starters as relievers like in 2017.
