MLB cancelled 2020 ASG. Dodgers to host 2022

2 All-Star Games should be held in 2022 to truly make up for the cancellation this year.
There is precedent.
The 1945 ASG was canceled due to wartime travel restrictions.
It was effectively made up in 1959 when a second ASG was scheduled. The 2-ASG schedule would persist through the 1962 season.
To ensure as many players get to play in an ASG in 2022, players would only be eligible to play in one of them. Thus, people would vote for the All-Star rosters for both games at the same time.

You really think a 2nd game being added 14 years later was to make up for the war? C'mon now...
The 2nd game was added to raise more money for the player's pension fund.
Having 2 All Star Games is ridiculous, that's why the experiment only lasted a few years.
