What is the Anaheim GM doing to the team? I could understand some of his moves if the budget was like $35 million, but it's $60 million. Other than the Niedermayer trade, all his moves have been B R U T A L.

Actually, his budget's not $60 M. It's $47 M. His team payroll is at $45 M.

What are you talking about?

I saw your budget, and thought it was a league-wide budget. My mistake.

Either way, his moves were brutal. Mike Sillinger, Gary Roberts, and Scott Young don't really make up for it.

This game's also flawed in salaries. In real life, Anaheim's moves of front-loading the contracts of Fedorov and Prospal would've played to their advantage. In this game, it's easily a disadvantage. It's weird, though, as Prospal's salary is at $3 million(only $0.5 higher than next season's) while Fedorov's is at $10 million($4 million up from next season's). Weird.

He got fair value for Prospal and Niedermayer, though it probably would've been better for him to keep Vinny. The Sykora trade, though, was very, very terrible.

Hey, it wasn't for a lack of trying. I made a hard push for Joe Thornton, but it seems Schlep Rock has fallen off the face of the earth, or something. Haven't heard from him in weeks.
