Yeah I’m pretty sure Columbus is gonna win the lottery. It’s seems like it’s always a ****ing metro team.

I'm thinking Detroit since the NHL needs them to be good again. There have been some VERY convenient winners in the past. Let's see if that continues.

If you're just talking overall winners, not top three, NJ is the only Metro team to win.

When the Islanders won in 2009, the Metro division didn't exist.

Outside of the 1st overall winners..

Carolina also had a massive jump up to 2 in 2018.

Rangers moved up to 2 in 2019.

Of the last 6 top 2 draft picks, 5 of them have gone to the Metro. Only Dahlin in 2018 was outside of the Metro. Time to spread the wealth around!

Statement from Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill:

"The Dallas Stars expect all of our employees to act with integrity and exhibit professional behavior while working for and representing our organization. This decision was made due to unprofessional conduct inconsistent with the core values and beliefs of the Dallas Stars and the National Hockey League."

I have no f***ing clue how Maurice is still around. I still think he's a pretty awful coach. The Jets very much have a Hexy/Hak situation where the coach and GM are pretty buddy buddy.
