Weird, wonder why he was signed to an NHL deal.
Makes me wonder if we were at 49 or 50 contracts, and a deal is coming.

I assume like Flick and others they though maybe he had some potential to develop into bottom 6 NHL talent

And I would say moving Leblanc was strictly to help open a spot up on Hogs roster to acqurie this guy

Blackhawks have several other RFA/UFAs in the minors. It will be interesting to see what happens to some of those players.

That's pretty much how I see it.

I think he showed a bit of promise as a shutdown center a few years ago, but he's obviously struggled since then.

Adding Beaudoin gives the Hogs a little veteran help on the wings, which might help them handle their midseason struggles.
