Boldy/Rossi was a good debate last year. Don't see much of an argument at this time.

The argument would be that neither of them are finished products, and finished product Rossi might still be better than finished product Boldy. Ranking them on who had the better past season is a completely different discussion.

Boldy imo. The combination of readiness + potential trumps Rossi who is pure potential right now.

Voted Rossi over Boldy, but barely.

Cripes. Think I flipped 3 times. Based on body of work in the short time he was in Iowa, he sure looks to be the real deal. So as far as that goes, I'd have to go Boldy. But, unless he really shits the bed, I think Rossi is going to be equally as good.

Last year I chose Rossi because I'm a huge believer in him. This year I chose Boldy, due to his actually getting to play last year and being (nearly?) ready for NHL action.

Rossi based on importance of position, his determination to get back.

Pretty sure I am buying a Boldy jersey fairly soon, though. I saw him when he was at the USA top prospects game at the X the year of his draft and he stood out more than anyone else, especially from so close to the glass.

I so want Rossi and Boldy to play in Iowa together and dominate that league.

Voted Boldy over Rossi by a hair… I think Matthew’s ceiling is slightly higher.

Also, Rossi needs to bounce back from COVID.

I went Rossi, but almost went Boldy. Can't go wrong with either.

Will be interesting to look back on. Anyone who says an answer with any certainty is trying to act smarter than they are. Boldy just had a great d+2 college season and a good WJC. Rossi put up a draft elogible OHL season that’s only bested by the likes of McDavid. Both have indicators that they could be high-end NHL players.

Boldy for me. In the last year he has dominated the NCAA, WJC & AHL. He has left no reason to doubt the NHL will be any different.

Rossi has to prove he is still the player he was a year ago, or perhaps even a better player. I think he will but we can’t know for sure what the past 9 months have done to his development.

I said Rossi, but I'm a huge Boldy fan. I think they are both going to be good.

A big RoR fan too, but not as high a ceiling as Marco and Matt.
