I'd like to see Michalek get the start - needs to earn his way to a 60-40 share.

Tuch did get his first pro point (assist). Didn't see the game, but noticed Lucia wasn't in the lineup. Lang, JEE didn't play either.

JEE was in Ottawa yesterday trying to resolve work visa issues.

2014 6th rounder for the Wild.

In 15-16 Lang scored 7 points in 14 games for the Calgary Hitmen, and 56 points in 55 games for the Vancouver Giants, and 3 points in 11 games for Iowa.

Wonder how Olofsson is progressing. I know he's scored a few points, which is nice, but not the main thing with him. Is he filling out? Playing well? Any weaknesses?

We could be a lot braver in trade scenarios involving our defenseman if he could be counted on to be a NHL player.

Hey at least Iowa is 5-6-0 so far. We'll take that I think after the past few years.

I'm assuming that Mitchell is coming up because he plays a sound two way game, and is better suited to a 4 th line role. Cause it sure as hell can't be because of his scoring. One point in 11 games one AHL? I thought he was supposed to be a scorer?

Yep.

Boudreau said there is “a good possibility’’ Mitchell will make his NHL debut Thursday. Though he has only one goal in 11 games this season, he led Iowa with 22 goals and 42 points last season.

Mitchell will not be a scorer at the NHL level, but in two games he's not getting crushed out there. Happy for him that he's getting a chance this season. Long road to the NHL.

He had a good game tonight. Can't complain if he gives that every night on the 4th line.
